Draft prepared: 3 November 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by a website in your browser. Similar browser storage may be used to keep a session active or remember a choice.
2. Cookies used by the current website
- Session cookie: supports sign-in sessions and security features while you use the website.
- Remember-me cookie: when you select “Remember me” at sign-in, the website sets a login token so it can recognise that choice.
The current local project code does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. This should be rechecked if analytics, embedded services, or marketing tools are added.
3. Managing cookies
You can review or remove cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent sign-in or other account features from working correctly. You can choose not to select “Remember me” when signing in.
4. Updates
This policy should be updated if the website adds or changes cookies or similar technologies. The approved version should state its effective date.
Management review items
- Confirm the remember-me token’s lifetime and storage behavior.
- Check the live hosting setup and any analytics, embedded media, advertising, or other third-party scripts.
- Confirm whether a consent banner or preference control is needed for any non-essential technologies.
